Gaining child custody
My daughter lives in Michigan with her mother, and I am in the Army, based in Augusta, Georgia. My name is not on my daughters birth certificate, but I want custody of my daughter because her mothers living situation is unsafe. How do I get custody of my child??

You do not indicate where in Michigan your daughter is living. Which county is it? You will need to consult with an experienced family law attorney to determine whether you might be able to get custody.
