Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My ex gave our child to her mom {the grandma} to take to florida to live with the grandma. We live in michigan and I never gave permission to let the grandma take my child now the grandma won't bring her back to michigan so I can have my kid. We are still going thru custody battle over our child. My ex is planing on moving to florida after her new husband gets off probation in 3 or 4 months. Can the grandma take my child and not give her back. I called the cops the day she left michigan with my kid but the cops said they couldn't do anything about it. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY DAUGHTER BACK? THE GRANDMA SAID SHE WAS NOT EVER GOING TO BRING HER BACK. Can I go after her for kidnapping?

You have to file a motion for custody and visitation. You should get a good lawyer. The longer you wait, the harder it will be.
