Do I have a good chance?

My daughters father is in prison. I want to try to get full custody of her. Her dad has a past of two drunk drivings one which someone had died. He has demostic assault or something similair to that on his record to. He does not want to help me with getting my daughter the things that she needs. he saved up money to send me while he is gone away, and now him and his girlfriend do not want to help me out anymore. I am in the Michigan Army National guard, I have a house, I have a job, and iI have a car. And a babysitter for work. I just would like to know what my chances are of getting full custody of my daughter.
