Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

guardianship

my boyfriend and i are trying to get guardianship of his sisters baby, we already have power of attorney and the child is already living with us full time, his mother is willing giving her child to us. i have got the packet of paper for probate court,im not really sure what parts to fill out, we don't want limited we want full, so do we just skip that section? also how much does is cost to file guardianship papers in michigan.

It is best to hire an experienced family law attorney for a court proceeding when you aren't qualified to practice law.
