Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

High School sports

I am the non custodial parent of my son but have joint legal rights. I have asked the school to not allow him to participate in wrestling. They refuse to honor my wishes and are allowing him to wrestle because his mother allows it. What legal recourse do I have? I have serious concerns about my son's health. They have had him drop weight from 168 to 140 lbs.
