I have written to lawguru plenty and appreciate the advice, my question is this...when my husband walked out on me and the kids back in February he took all he wanted to take, told me to sell things to make ends meet, he is paying nothing towards anything, so I did just that and i've been getting by, now he says he never gave me permission to sell anything and that i kicked him out..am i in trouble now

You are not in trouble. However, you have done nothing to take care of yourself so if you have some issues with him complaining, going to court, etc. you have yourself to blame. What you should have done is to immediately get an order of support. Then, he'd be owing you. You cannot get a retroactive order of support so the best you can do is immediately take action to protect yourself. Get a lawyer. Go to legal aid or whatever, but get some help and protect yourself.
