Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My husband is going through a child custody battle with his ex and she has sent some pretty bad text messages to their daughter who is currently in our custody. He has a child custody hearing in November and we need to get the text message records. Do you know how we would go about subpoening those records? Thanks!

Your husband's lawyer may be able to subpoena the text messages from the cell company.
