Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

my husband has been disability for years. I had no income as I stayed home to care for him. He passed away 3/16/2011. Am I responsible for all his hospital and dr. bills? Everything we owned was mine before we were together, home, car... now I am getting hundreds and hundreds of dollars in bills and I do not have any income. I am 62 in December. My husband would have been 65 in July.

No you are not responsible for those bills. Do not let anyone tell you differently.

You would only be responsible if you signed an agreement to pay his medical bills.
