Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Husband filed for divorceaugust 2009 but has since left filing expire. i was getting two hundredper week from him. last money i got from him was 12/04/2009, one before that was first week of november for $300. he has not lived in the home since july 2008. i am in the home. i just can't and won't deal with hie irresponsibility or verbal abuse any longer. i am trying to file for divorce on my own but don't know wish for i need to start with first. legal services in my area have never returned my calls. i did finda couple forms," summons and complaint", "affidavit and order suspension of fees/costs", and was also adviced to get p.p.o. once i do file. i did make call to bar association of lansing and a couple people did call and give me advice. all i am in need of is advice on the right forms to get. house has been turned over to foreclosure attorney and i was going to stay til i was told to vacant but my nerves are just about shot. any help from anybody. thank you. n. burgard

To get things started, you need to file a Complaint for divorce. There are certain things you need to put in the Complaint, though. If you have kids, you also need to file a verified statement. you do also want to ask for the fees are suspended.
