If a husband or wife inherts money from parents due to death durning there marriage
does the spouse have legal rights to it if a divorce happens

No, as a general rule inheritance is not considered marital property.

If the inhereted property is kept separately and maintained separately, the law is likely to call it separate property. Comingling the funds in one way that the law might call it marital property. Also, a court can divide separate property in a divorce case under specific circumstances. You can read more at:
