When to impeach

I have a custody hearing coming in january,my wifes brother was involved in a felony im aware of.can i impeach him before the trial to disclude him from the trial.if so,what kind of motiom would i file?ty

Re: When to impeach

You have to wait until he is on the stand to impeach his credibility. You are mixing up impeachment with disqualification. Simply because he was convicted of a felony does not disqualify him from testifying. If that were the case, none of these prisoners who rat on other prisoners could ever testify. Bill Stern
