Joint Decisions for Medical Care for Children

Can my ex wife get psychiatric care for my son without my consent? We have joint legal and shared physical custody. The custody papers read, that each of the parties shall determine, jointly with the other party, all questions and matters pertaining to the hospital, medical, dental and psychiatric care for the minor children. My son is 10 years old.
