Need Legal Help

I have a friend who told his wife three weeks ago that he was divorcing her. Well she tried killing herself in front of me and her kids while she was over my house. Well she spent time in ICU then was on the Psych. floor for 3 days and they let her out today. He wants to know what he can do to protect their daughter and his step son. We are scared that she will hurt herself and the kids.

There are several answers to that question. One is to get the divorce filed and file for ex parte relief to get custody of the kids. Another is to attempt to have a guardian appointed. Either way, get a copy of the report.
