Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Legal Seperations

I am trying to find out if Michigan practices the use of legal seperations, and if so how can I get the forms for it via the web? Also, if I get the forms how do I file for the seperation?

Greetings; Michigan does not have legal separation. There are no forms or procedure to follow whatsoever. This is a very common question in my office. Michigan does have a separate maintenance statute. However,it is not a legal separation. Thanks, Atty. Trichler; www.trichler.com
