Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Limiting visitation time

My ex was granted weekend visitation with my son after I filed for divorce after being separated for three years. In the three years of being separated, he had very limited contact with my son. Since this time (6 months), my son has become unbearable. He is disrespectful to me, doing terrible in school and basically is using one parent against the other. I had to take his father to court for child support and my 10 year old doesn't understand that his father is only using him to get to me. During the week, I get a child who simply is impossible to deal with. What can I do?

Re: Limiting visitation time

Both parents and the child should be involved in family / divorce counseling right away.
