I live in Michigan and I think my wife is going to file for divorce after 30 years of marriage. Can she make me pay alimony

Whether or not your wife can pay you alimony would be dependent on several factors. If your wife does file, you should consult with an attorney and have them run the alimony guidelines. Within minutes, the attorney should be able to tell you what the guidelines recommend for alimony. Most judges in my area of the state to go with what the guidelines recommend.
