Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
To make a long story short, my dad is filing for divorce from my mom. He pays for literally EVERYTHING and doesn't even stay here. He hasn't changed his address or anything because his ultimate goal is for her to leave and he wants to come back home. I live at the house with my 17 year old sister, my 11 month old son, and my mother. There has been such turmoil and its so toxic here all because of my mom. She is mentally unstable and I no longer feel comfortable living here with her and my son. So mainly my question is even though her name is on a few bills but my dad pays them all, is there anyway possible she can be removed from the household? She has a place to go and live but since she is so mentally unstable and has been drinking lately, she changes her mind everyday. She wants to move out, but like I said, she gets crazy and starts yelling and screaming about how shes not leaving "her house" I don't feel safe with her anymore, especially when it comes to my son. I want my dad back and her gone. I don't have any other options for myself as far as removing myself from the house, as I have nowhere else to go. I just can't do this anymore, while she is cheating and lying (among the mental instability and many other issues) please help because my dad and I need all the help we can get. They go through a private lender, the house has been refinanced, my dad pays the bill every month but her name is on it too. Please, please, help.

No court would remove her under these circumstances. If your dad can pay for her other place and she wants to go, she might. Your wishes have no bearing on their divorce, however.
