Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I married 7/1/2013 and my husband moved out on 10/20/2013, can I do an annulment and if so how do I go about it.

No children are involved.

Also, on average how much time does an annulment take vs a divorce and do I need a lawyer, if so how much can I expect to pay?

It's more difficult to get an annulment because you have to raise some allegation of fraud or a reason why the marriage was not legal (not of legal age, one party already married). It doesn't mean it's impissible, just hard and rare. You will need an experienced divorce attorney to review the matter to see if you qualify for an annulment. There is a statutory waiting period of 60 days for a divorce without children. Consult with a family law attorney in your area.
