Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am married with 3 kids. But in 2006, my husband and I got a divorce. I have custody and there is child support order. In 2007, we remarried. But the child support order is still in effect. We have not been doing too well. He is back into drugs. Over the summer, I left him and went to South Carolina. He got the police involved and made me come back. Did he have the right to do that?

Without a court order permitting you to leave the state with the children, he had the right to have the children brought back under the original divorce judgment.
