The father has agreed to let me take her out of the state but he wants something in writing so that neither one of us gets in trouble. When i move back to the home state will the law change after so many years?? I dont want any child support from him i just want to go back home with my child. PLEASE HELP ME????

Re: Not Married but wants to leave state with child with other parents permission

Since everyone agrees, just see an inexpensive family law lawyer who can draw up an appropriate custody and visitation agreement. File a case and have the order entered by consent. If you don't do it properly, you may wind up in the other state, the father will file something in your prior home state and your new state will be forced to honor the other state's order. Do it right and save the grief. William S. Stern

Surely you need / want a court order giving you permission to leave the state. See an attorney to obtain one first.
