Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I would like to know, i married a man in prison and the marriage was never consummated. Is this still considered a legal marriage??:

Consummation has nothing to do with a valid marriage. You need a license and the proper procedure to be followed to make it "legal." www.kliszlaw.com Tim Klisz
