I don't know what to do
I have been married to for 15 years Low income housing says I need a seperation agreement. to get into low income housing. I am on disability. My husband is quite mentally abusive to me. My medical docter is worried about my saftey. What can I do or where do I go. Please help me. Please tell me which direction to go.

I am not sure that a lawyer is what you need to solve all the issues you mention. However, if it is a divorce or a legal separation that you are seeking, you might want to contact a legal aid clinic or a local law school to see if you qualify for reduced legal fees or free legal assistance based on your income and/or situation. If you and your husband together have no property, you may be able to handle a divorce yourself.
