Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Michigan Custody Case and Change of Venue
Me and the father of my daughter split and I moved to a different part of the state in November of 2005. I went though the initial custody case in Arenac county. I would like to file for a change of venue to the county I and my daughter reside in here in Livingston county. Is this possible and if so what do I need to do to do this. Also, by his own admissions, my daughters father is taking her to AA meetings (are you kidding me?) and to stay the night at his single male friends house to stay the night with 2 grown men, a 6 year old boy, and my 3 year old daughter. I need to refile for visitation adjustments because I think these behaviors are detramental to my little girl. Please help, I feel that Arenac county is a good ole' boys town and I have revieved no help from that court system at all. Thanks!

Contact a family law specialist in Livingston County to change the venue of your case and to file a change of domicile motion in your case. Attorney John Gormley in Fowlerville or Webberville might take this case.
