Minor Child and Driving

My 16 year old has taken off in a vehicle we bought for him and titled to him in his name. Do we have the legal right to take the vehicle back and not allow him to drive it?

The parents still run the show in the household. Take the car, get rid of it and he can't do anything. He cannot even contract legally to sell the car. William S. Stern
