Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

If a mother takes a child out of state and the father gets custody awarded by the court. What can a father do next to get the child. I have no address or no contact information regarding the mother. However, she has an attorney and they have her contact information and the police have been in contact with her trying to get the child back, but to no avail. As the father, is there a motion that I can petition the courts to find out where my son is? What can I do?

If you have a court order and she leaves the state violating the court order, it would seem that the police would file parental kidnapping charges. You should take this up with the prosecutor's office.
