Motion to Reconsider
Can you possibly advise me what information should go into a Motion to Reconsider?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Motion to Reconsider
You should put in the main point what you believe the judge missed and back it up with law on the point that would show the judge would be overturned on appeal. You normally get no oral argument on a motion to reconsider so make your written motion really good, hard hitting and succinct. Bill Stern
Re: Motion to Reconsider
The court rules specifically state that a motion for rehearing and reconsideration requires a showing that there was palpable error by the court and that the parties have been misled, and that a different disposition of the motion would occur if these issues are reconsidered. Generally, a rehash of the prior pleadings will not suffice. For more info., please contact my office at (248)851-3171.
