Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

my ex moved with my daughter to another state and is not abiding by visitaion order. Granted she only missed one month but that is all i get my child is one weedend a month. Without filing papers and going to court is there a easier way to make her understand this will not be tolerated by me.

Write her a letter explaining that removal of a child over a 100 radius from the prior home is a violation of the court order and may very well lead to criminal charges or contempt of court. If she does not understand that, then you will have to visit the police, if in fact, your order contains such language, as they normally do.
