Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Moving children to a different city
Ex wants to move children to a different city, which is 86 miles away. Children are w/ me for 1 wk and w/ her the other wk. This schedule has been going on for the last 2.5 yrs. She doesn't work and isn't relocating for work. Her current husband left his job and took other position. I don't want them to leave. I have joint custody. However, my resources don't compare to my ex's current husband, which has been put in my face on numerous occassions.
Looking for articles, advice, or any law to keep my children here.

Anything within a hundred miles is legal. However, you may want to petition the court for a change in parenting time to address this change in circumstances.

The best advice is for you to hire an experienced family law attorney to fight for you. This is complex law. A tough, aggressive lawyer can help.
