can friend of the court tell someone how far they can move?

Generally, there is a state statute that prevents either parent from removing the child permanently to a new residence more than 100 miles from the radius where the child lives. You have to get court permission to move farther or face parental kidnapping charges, etc. As far as moving locally, I have never heard of a Friend of the Court so limiting a parent. William S. Stern
