Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Parenting Time Driving

I cannot drive due to a medical condition. My husband and I are getting divorced, and the FOC made a recommendation that he have parenting time twice a week, and that we share the driving responsibility. Up to now, my mom has been driving when I need to pick the baby up. But my mom doesn't want to continue to do it (the father and I live about 45 miles apart.) Hiring a taxi or something would cost everything I have, obviously. Can the FOC make me share the driving responsibility?

Re: Parenting Time Driving

The judge makes those decisions, not the FOC. Your lawyer should bring this matter back before the court.
