Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Parenting Time

a recommendation has been ordered re: parenting time for my children & their father. he filed the motion for ''specific parenting time''. we had the hearing on 11/11/08, he has not adhered to the recommendation. he has stopped picking the children up from school, has not got them on wknds, etc. and these things were outlined in the recommendation. if i file an appeal, what are the chances that the judge/referee will change the order?? i am in desperate need of finding an atty because i would like to file an appeal but am afraid to do so without legal representation. it seems like he is picking & choosing when he wants to be bothered with the children, this is hurting the kids and the courts are supposed to do whats in the best interest of the children! the children don't want to go with him now because of things he's done and said to them and about me...i'm at my wits end and don't know if i have a leg to stand on please help!

Re: Parenting Time

I think your best course of action would be to set up a consultation with a local attorney as soon as possible. What county is your case in?
