Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I am getting a partial pension from my deceased 2nd husband. I recently took a buy out and this money is now being invested in a retirement fund. I will receive a certsin amount of money for the rest of my life out of this buy out. The lump sum can go up or down depending on the market. If I were to get a divorce, can my current husband touch this money since it is a retirement from my ex husband?

There is not nearly enough information available from you to give you a correct answer. However, an experienced family law attorney might be able to help you try to protect money in the event of a divorce. I strongly suggest you meet with such an attorney right away.
