Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

pension

I,ve been divorce since 1999. In the divorce decree it states that my ex-spouse should be granted 50% of my pension. This was hand written over the section reference pension after i've signed. Both has re-married. I have five years to retire. How can i keep my ex from getting of my pension.

You are basically accusing someone of committing a fraud on the court by saying that it was written in after you signed. Did you OK the change? If so, you are stuck with it. If not, you have a real fight on your hands to get this set aside. If you want to take on this challenge, get on it right away as the longer it sits, the less likely the court will grant relief. It will cost you lots of money to hold hearings to get this set aside so you had better make sure you really want this fight. It will cost you lots to lose 1/2 your pension, however.
