Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Permission moving legally binding

My ex-boyfriend and I sign a paper without getting notary it. Now he's telling me the paper has to be notary to be legally file at the court house. And if I file it without getting notary than the judge will schedule a time for us to go back to court. My question is what exacly do I have to do to make it legally.

Re: Permission moving legally binding

It sounds like you and your boyfriend are not qualified to practice law or to draw up legal documents. I caution you against trying to practice law. I also caution you against taking legal advice from your ex-boyfriend. You should hire your own experienced, family law attorney.
