Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Personal property division
When we were married, my ex bought a rotatiller for me for a garden. He pays monthly payments on it. We also bought a riding lawn mower from my sister. Our divorce decree says nothing regarding these items specifically, it says I will pick up my tools and items in the garage and shed and attic with in a reasonable time. I did just that and he says he is taking me back to court. Does he have any more right to these items than I do? Thank you.

It matters what is in the judgment. If the judgment is ambiguous, the judge will decide. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
