Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

physical/legal custody

My husband and I have 3 minor children and we want to share joint legal and physical custody. However, we do not want to put 'visitation schedules/guidelines' on the divorce decree. The children are welcome to stay with me or with my husband at any time and we will cooperate on all issues. I feel this will help ease the stress for the children if they know they are free to be with either parent. Our divorce will be uncontested and we want what is best for the children. We also do not want to go to trial or get the courts involved. Is it possible to state this in the divorce decree?
