Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
What can you do when you can not possibly appear at a Show Cause hearing in Michigan when you live in Florida? My husband just received a show cause hearing 10 days before he supposed to appear in court....there isn't anyway we can get him there. Is there something we can file or can we call for a phone conference? Any ideas??

Your attorney should immediately contact the judge's office to advise the judge of the problem. Many times judges will assist in accommodating out of state litigants.
