Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Regarding Prenups
I've been attempting to find the different laws in Michigan that would deem a prenup invalid. I get generalizations but no actual facts. Questions I have are: In the event of a divorce, if all generalized items are correct, what is the actual chance of it still holding up in Michigan court? If we move out of state, does it invalidate the prenup? Any potential loopholes that need to be covered? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding Prenups
It is not possible to answer your question accurately. Your question is similar to this one - If I take good care of myself what are all the possible ways I could get sick and if I get sick how can I be cured?
Pretty silly, right?
Your best best it to retain an EXPERIENCED family law specialist to represent you with a prenuptial agreement. Although none of us can ever guarantee the results (just like your doctor can't guarantee that you'll always be healthy) your chances for a good result are much better with professional assistance.
