Previous employer did not send child support payments withheld from my check

My previous employer withheld my child support payments from my paycheck each week as per the court order in IN. Now the State of IN shows no payments were made from April to September, while I was employed there. When confronted about this, they advise they did send the payments, but have drug their feet and failed to show any proof. Now I am being held in contempt and my taxes are scheduled to be offset for the arrears. What can I do?

Have your lawyer bring your former employer into court.
