Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
property dispute ruling
During yet another visit to family court for my ex to attempt to get more money for 'disputed property', she brought up an unrelated issue. An issue she did not file a motion for. She did not like our child's haircut and asked that I refrain from cutting his hair. The judge (who had stated on many prior occasions that you need to file a motion for anything brought up) put in the judgement that I cannot cut my sons hair. Why is that legal?

Re: property dispute ruling
It is legal because the judge has the black robe and the final say so unless you appeal the order. Hopefully your lawyer made the proper objection to the judge's ruling.
