Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

property

My husband and I separated and he left our home. I made the payments myself. I found a better cheaper home for our 3 kids and myself. As I am still in the process of moving, some things remained in the old home. He went and pulled up all the flooring and gave it to a friend. I planned on using the flooring in my new home. I can't afford new because he is cheap w/ child support. ($50 a wk for 3 kids). Is that legal for him to do? He also ''gave'' his car to his dad. Is that legal? So do I have a right to take and sell anything I want in the home that he hasn't gotten out yet. We lived there for 8 yrs and getting my things is taking time. I am a single mom with 3 kids 2 of which are disabled. He knew I wasn't done moving. What am I supposed to do?
