Purchase property before divorce is final
My divorce is not final yet, however; we did sell the house and split the proceeds. I am purchasing another house with those proceeds and want to know if my soon to be ex-husband can have any claims on the new house. We have no children living at home.

Why are you asking questions of attorneys on line, that you don't even know? You should be asking questions of your divorce lawyer. All property acquired during a marriage may be subject to claim as marital property.
