Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

How can someone put a ppo order out on a person and never be sent notice to be in court? A person in my family has done this to me and i have not had any contact with him in 2 years this may it has put a hold on my 3 rd adoption and now we might have to go to a adventury ? hearing . please help my husband and i are so confused about this. Also what is this hearing for or what is done during one?

Apparently, the PPO was never served. Motion in court to void the PPO. You may have a suit for abuse of process if the person simply filed it to tarnish your reputation.
