Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Questions I have not yet found the answers to....

To keep it short and simple I will leave out specific case questions and stick to the basic legal ones. also thanks in advance to any one who has some answeres.

1. if you have no legal represenitive, can you have a non-legal person speek for you, do to being over emotional? is there something that must be filed to do this? Ie: husband for wife?

2. what are the rules of evidence and discovery in regards to F.O.C. referee hearings? or where can I find this info?

3. Can I subpoena the defendants mental health info? How?

4. How long before the hearing to I have to give opposing council a witness list?

Again Thank you to any one who can help or point me in the right direction.

You cannot have a lay person speak on your behalf. My best advice to you is hire a lawyer. If you have no money, there are legal aid groups that may provide you with the help you need for a nominal fee. Contact the State Bar or any law school for information.
