Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
I received a motion in the mail and the other party has filled out a section that says they have made personal contact with me on May 16th requesting concurrence in the relief sought with this motion and that concurrence was denied. I was never contacted by the other party not on May 16th or any other day for that matter. Do I contact the court?

I would suggest bringing a copy of the paperwork to a consultation with a lawyer. Usually those provisions state that the other party attempted to make contact and seek concurrence and was denied, which means they could have called you and didn't hear back or something. If it says something that isn't true, you definitely need to consult with a lawyer to discuss your options and next steps.
