Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I received a subpoena from my ex-wife. She wants me to reimburse her $3000 to pay for back taxes we had on our home in Minnesota. She filed this in her local courthouse in Wisconsin, I presently live in Michigan. The house was in her name, so technically the taxes are in her name. My ex-wife states that in our divorce agreement I would help pay the taxes. I'm not sure if this was a written statement that I signed or not. In addition I don't think $3000 would be my half of taxes for a house in Minneapolis for 4 years. I received the subpoena on 3/5/10 here in Michigan, and the court appearance in Wisconsin is on 3/25/10. I want to dispute this, so I want copies of the divorce decree and taxes levied. The subpoena states I may show up at the courtroom or file a written answer and provide a copy to the plaintiff. Can I file an answer which consists of asking for copies of what I listed above? Or do I need to already know these answers, and officially file an answer of dispute for what I owe?
