Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
I have been recieving only $40.00 a month in chid support for the past year and before that i wasnt getting anything off and on. Everytime i ask my son's fathe for money he says he doesnt have it even if its $20.00. I have given him 5 years of no fighting and allowing him to see my son without problems but i am now unemployed, I am a student and am not financially able to d this on my own anymore and i have been arguing with him for the past couple of months and told him if he didnt start supporting his soon i was not ging to allow him to see him anymore. He still did not do what i asked so i moved away. now he has been calling me and threatening me saying that he is going to file charges against me for kidnap and he is going to "kick my ass and my boyfriends" i have beenignoring his calls but i wanted to know if i can be arrested for keeping my son away from him and moving? or can he actually file kidnap charges on me?

You need to meet with an experienced family law attorney right away. In addition, if there are safety or violence issues, you should report the threats to the police.
