Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Relocation

My fiancee and I have just moved from Michigan to Florida. We want to know how we can modify child support from down here. Florida says they cannot do it. He also has a court date tomorrow in michigan he won't be able to attend, which will probably result in a warrant for contempt of court. We're not going back to MI to do this so what do we do? And will FL be able to hold him here in a jail for this warrant? Or will they wait to see if MI comes for him?
