Rental income obligations for divorced situations

I own a house with my ex-husband which I'm responsible for paying 43% of the mortgage on. For the past year my ex has been renting out 2 bedrooms in the house and getting $1100 a month. With the rent he's getting and the portion of the mortgage I'm paying he virtually is living in the house for free. Am I entitled to any of the rent he gets?

You may be able to argue that renting the house is putting your security in jeopardy as strangers are in the house, etc. Perhaps you can put pressure on him that way to cut you in on the action. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
