Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Our residence is Michigan.
We are leaving for Maui for vacation.
If we get married there, can we sign pre nup in Maui that was prepared in Michigan?
We would have to locate 2 witnesses and a notary, but is it legal if signed in Maui?

Why not simplify life for everyone and sign the prenuptual in Michigan? Why do it overseas? What if you need the testimony of the notary or witnesses down the road?
